Titolo: IP^2C Transducers for All-Organic Electronic Applications
Abstract: This work focuses on the integration of polymeric transducers in organic electronics applications. A novel class of all-organic electroactive polymers has been introduced, the Ionic Polymer-Polymer Composites (IP2Cs). Furthermore, several manufacturing techniques for IP2C have been investigated in order to improve their performances both as electromechanical actuators and as sensors. A whole plastic motion transduction system has been designed by integrating organic electronic control circuits. The research activity, from materials study to organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) design in CADENCE environment, has allowed the exploitation of the design flow from schematic to simulation and layout.
